HollEr was formed in the late 90's when songwriters Henry Otero and Eduardo Roses met while working for Celebrity Cruises in Miami, FL. The two had been involved with very different projects, yet took a strong interest in each other's work. It didn't take long for them to begin their "electronic music project". In 2001, HollEr released their self-titled CD on mp3.com to rave reviews and sales. Though momentum was present, the project was put on hold while both guys went back to school. Henry attended Full Sail in Orlando, FL. while Eduardo was studying journalism and music theory at U.F. In the fall of 2003, a stronger HollEr reunited to begin work on a new CD. Bringing aboard the experience and talents of producer/engineer Carlos de Yarza of Bayside Music, and guitarist Emilio Cueto, this new material though clearly electronic, incorporates organic elements and carries a bold, eclectic, edgy feel. HollEr's unique voice fuses Dance, Electronica, New Wave and Pop sounds with a romantic attitude and intimate, urgent lyrics.
